Quite a difference!
A log staircase built from our 6"x12" bull-nosed treads and 4"x12" stringers, in eastern white pine.
We use our regular 6"x8" round logs for newel posts. Note the massive stair treads made from eastern white pine.
Here we used a combination of black powder-coat finished aluminum rails in concert with the pine timbers.

Another smart use of our mini-logs. A child's play cabin! This young man is now a seasonal employee of Tree Craft Log Homes. He has grown up in the business!
These mini-logs have a dimension of 2&1/2" high by 3&1/2" wide, a 1/4 scale profile of our round house logs.
